Consumed is a series of sculptures made up of cardboard boxes received from online shopping orders painted in pleasing hues and filled with found objects. Each work balances mass-manufactured items alongside natural materials, inherited objects, and what some might consider trash. The boxes act not only as pedestal and frame, but also as a storage method for the work itself to be packed up and shipped off to the next destination at any moment, rejoining the global flow of goods and recontextualizing the value and meaning of the objects they contain.
